SP Balasubramanyam Tests Negative for Coronavirus, Stable Now, Confirms SP Charan

Legendary Singer SP Balasubramanyam has tested negative for Coronavirus and is in a stable condition now, his son SP Charan confirmed in an official statement.



The 74-year old singer, who was being treated for the deadly virus at a Chennai hospital, is doing fine now.

"Dear Media Friends, thanks for Your continuous support and prayers for my father... My father is fine and stable and his corona test has become negative... Will keep u posted about the updates. Thanks," SP Charan said in the statement.

From celebrities to the general public, Tamil Nadu came together and prayed on Thursday for the early recovery of veteran playback singer S P Balasubramaniam, who was on life support battling COVID-19 at the MGM Healthcare hospital.

In an emotional show of solidarity, Bharathirajaa, music composers Ilayaraja, A R Rahman, lyricist Vairamuthu, and Rajinikanth joined the mass prayer on Thursday
